The 22nd International AIDS Conference, AIDS 2018, will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 23-27 July 2018. An Interfaith Pre-Conference is planned for 21-22 July.
Since the 15th International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, Thailand (AIDS 2004), the WCC-EAA has led the facilitation of an Interfaith Chaplains Programme.
In partnership with the International AIDS Society, the WCC-EAA organizes a room at the conference venue as an Interfaith Prayer Room. This will be open and accessible to all conference participants.
Some ten interfaith chaplains and young counsellors will lead faith-based prayer and worship sessions during the conference, and are available for informal counselling and spiritual support to conference participants.
Applications are now being accepted up to 22 March 2018. If you are interested, or would like more information, please download the application form (MS Word).
Applications are to be submitted to WCC-EAA HIV Campaign Coordinator Francesca Merico: firstname.lastname@example.org
