Holy City is a monthly workshop and worship event “for ecumenically-minded, curious folk”. It is hosted by the Holy City Planning Group and the Wild Goose Resource Group of the Iona Community. Its 2011-12 session takes the theme ‘Choice Cuts – faith and futures in a world in crisis’.

GLASGOW THE WELCOMING CITY
City Chambers, George Square, Glasgow G2 1DU
The City Council and Glasgow Churches Together will host the annual celebration of the Glasgow in the City Chambers, focusing this year on the 14th centenary of St Mungo and the birth of the City of Glasgow – with song and dance, readings from the 12th century ‘Life of Kentigern’ and from the Bible which Mungo preached, and with special prayers for the well-being of Glasgow and its citizens new and old. All are welcome to the celebration and refreshments afterwards.
