A memorial service has taken place in Glasgow for the victims of a bin lorry crash that yesterday claimed six lives.
The remembrance service was held at the Church of Scotland’s St George’s Tron Church, located yards from the crash scene.
The service was led by the minister of the Tron, Rev Alastair Duncan and Rt Rev Bill Hewitt, Clerk of Glasgow Presbytery, read from John 1: 1 – 14.
Rev Stuart Smith, Moderator of the Presbytery, said: “Once again we come together now to mourn our loss, side by side, arm in arm, a city united in grief.”
