Sandwich chain Pret a Manger have launched their Christmas menu across the UK, and with it the stories of five homeless-support charities.
Glasgow City Mission’s story has been chosen to feature on sandwich and salad boxes sold in Pret’s 300 UK shops, as well as on the company’s website and social media channels.
The local charity receives annual funding from Pret’s charity arm, the Pret Foundation Trust (PFT). This covers the charity’s Thursday evening drop-in service, helping up to 130 men and women, and also the younger men’s lunch club form some 40 young men.
Glasgow City Mission also receive unused sandwiches and salads from Pret at the end of the day to give out to the clients that come to the evening Drop-in.
