Fr David Wallace, Chair of Glasgow Churches Together, writes:
As we begin once again this octave of Christian Unity, it seems clear that the progress of our churches work together is coming on apace.
In the face of the more recent tragedies of our City, our church leaders have been very visible in Christ’s name and in our name for the care of the people of our City. The secular press have readily reported this and brought it to our attention.
The path to unity is marked by these demonstrations of togetherness. Across our city, many different events and demonstrations of solidarity among Christians will take place as we mark this octave.
May God bless your endeavours and may they truly stand out as examples of the great work we can achieve together.
